DO NOT TRUST CARVANA
I bought a 2017 Nissan Armada from Carvana with a clean Carfax and no reported damage After 6 months the paint on the back bumper started flaking off. Imagine my surprise when a local body tech told me it had been repaired and repainted before and done poorly. When I...

First of all! I would to Thx for your input post video mentioned your comment very big help to those who want to purchase Carvana.

My plan is to purchase Lexus 2020 NX FSport for $37889 only 8.5k Mileages. So I was compared to any dealership in my local cheaper at least $3.5k with KBB said is a good deal. So from steps 1 to 10 processing paperwork doc, I've done step1 to 7 before linking to my bank. I and my wife said okay make sure final checked anything feature of the car.

At Carvana list Navigation, Sunroof, and a lot of features.....etc! But when I view 360 degrees I didn't see any sunroof or Navigation. I and my wife got confusing. So I contact with Carvana specialist His name is Petrov I chat with him he checks or views the car after 5min his told me you're right the car has no sunroof or moonroof and I asked him right away and Navigation system too.

He said he going to send a discrepancy report to his annotation team might need to open a ticket to correct this car specification. But the problem the main issue is money and the option premium package need to adjustment. He said this will take 24hrs to be checked, so please bear with them until getting a response.

I'm not sure his response back to me or not. But we got confused right now..

DONT BUY *** FROM THESE CONNS. I BOUGHT A CAR WITH 14,000 MILES ON IT, THE SUNROOF WENT OUT TWICE, THE PASSENGER SEAT STOPPED WORKING, AND NOW THE TRANSMISSION IS OUT. ALL IN LESS THE A YEAR. F THEM, YOU HAVE A BETTER CHANCE ON A RINKY *** LOT. BUY DAT WARRANTY FOR THEY BROKE *** CARS.

Disappointment after purchase

The whole process with Carvana was great. From selection to delivery, stress free and simple. I love my car. Its beautiful. The issue I have now is that I bought the car mid November of 2021 and driven it approximately 4000 miles in the last two months. After all Carvanas bragging about their thorough inspections and certifying that all is in good order I had to spend just under $1,000.00 last week to purchase four new tires. The tires on the car were all chopped and trashed to the point that I could barely keep the car on the road in dry conditions, let alone anything rainy or snowy. I was on a very tight budget and purchased the car thinking I wouldnt have any car repairs or expenses for a decent amount of time and there I was two months later at the tire shop with my pockets turned inside out. I think it absolutely sucks and Im pissed off.

User's recommendation: Double check everything your told.

Issues

Hello my name is Diana and I had bought my 2016 Mazda 6 back in august of 2021. I literally had the car for one week and then issues started to happen and because it was 3 days the 7 day period carvana refused to exchange the car . And advised me to take it to one of recommended mechanics they have listed , so I did . I had taken it to pep boys and they stated that it needed a new sparks plug , so I got replaced. Had the car for a day and the issues started again. So I took back to pep boys, they then stated it was the O2 sensors so they replaced those and then the next day the engine started shaking and the car wouldnt turn on. Brought it in again and then they said to take it to a Mazda dealership . I wanted to get a second opinion so I did a house call mechanic with the list from carvana and the guy said the same thing needs to go to the OEM . So I did , took it to Mazda they had my car for nearly a month said it needed all new fuel injectors and a new O2sensors airflow . And because I had to take it to Mazda instead of a mechanic covered by carvana I paid for the repairs out of pocket which was pretty pricey. Anyways I finally got the car back two weeks before Christmas and it drives ok but the.issues started again and now the ECU for the Mazda needs to be replaced . Now I have spent more money on the car since Ive gotten it and received no help from carvana . I am pretty disappointed and dissatisfied on how this company does business. Buying a used/new car is a big deal especially for the amount of money people are paying monthly. And to be honestly the fact that carvana had done nothing to make this right is beyond me . Its been almost 5 months and still havent been able to drive the car . I really would like to exchange it for a car same price same monthly or at least have carvana pay for the the new ECU for the car . This isnt right and Im extremely upset with this company. they sold me a damn lemon

User's recommendation: Do not purchase from carvana ,

LOL...This is what happens when you buy a car online. Please don't tell us you believed those stupid commercials that showed people buying cars in their pajamas. There is NO substitute for going down to a shop, kicking the tires, and having REAL human interaction.

Horrible buying experience but the rejection is for the redirection

The worst company to ever buy a car from rude customer service from Lexi stay away trust me they will not try to help you purchase a car from them they are worst than a dealer, youre better off going to a dealer they make the experience unclear and hopeless and do everything it takes to make the buying experience difficult just when you think you can breathe (as frustrating as it already is purchasing the right vehicle) they lead you on as if the process is simple right to the final steps just to tell you that oh you still need an impossible amount of paperwork and nope that still doesnt get it. We have insurance on a vehicle that is no longer available as our own thanks to Carvana I say go with the dealer, the dealer will ensure you get approved and get the keys in your hand same day!

User's recommendation: Just go to a dealer, they will work faster and honor your time and money (the dealer not caravana).

So, buying a car, online, sight unseen was a stupid idea huh? Your stupidity endangered the driving public as you careened down the highway with an exhaust held on by a hanger.

Imagine the grief you would have caused had this thing let go on the road. You asked for this and got it.

Complaint / Warranty / Repairs

Recently purchased a 2015 Jeep Cherokee with low miles for a fair price. When it was dropped off the 3rd party delivery service refused a full walk around of the vehicle, jumped the dead battery, took 3 pictures, shoved his phone in my face to sign and left. I spent hours on the phone with customer advocates explaining the situation and how nowhere in my area would take Silver Rock for warranty payments. The battery was good. Just had been sitting for too long. So we proceeded to complete our 7-day test drive, which they did extend 3 days due to a possible battery issue. Forward to now, the Jeep was driven from ND to FL with no problems except a leak coming from the rearview mirror. Our family was on a tight schedule to make it to our relatives for the holidays. No issues on the road, etc until 2 nights ago when we were heading back from FL. Road conditions were clear at our time of travel and no errors in driving, ie hitting a pothole, happened. We pulled off the interstate in Warner Robbins, GA to fuel up and the exhaust line and pipe fell to the ground. Upon looking under the Jeep, we also saw how rusted it was (very rusty!). Long story indeed. Short end of it now - my family and I are stuck in a hotel (paying for it out of pocket) with no guarantee of reimbursement for lodging or food. We don't have a rental car and will be in serious jeopardy of losing 3 jobs within this group of 4 if we are not in ND within the next 3 days. CarVana and Silver Rock have done nothing to call back, offer any resolution/solutions or help find a repair shop to fix the situation. Needless to say, pissed off is not a word I like you use, but feel pissed on. If anyone has anything to offer in the way of handling this, I am all ears.

Still waiting for that 2nd key

Everything went smooth as far as purchase/ delivery -- HOWEVER, the vehicle was supposed to be delivered with 2 keys per Carvana listing, but only received one key, 1 month later not getting anywhere -- Promised them if not resolved, to leave a bad review, so here it is!

Poor customer relationships

This is the second time I have not received a phone call about a delay but instead a text and an email. What happened to customer service? What happened for caring for the people that keep this business going? Why doesnt Carvana pick up the phone and call me to let me know? Instead I have to call, wait on hold, the person I am speaking with has to look through notes to figure out why the car is delayed a second time. This is all very impersonal! My experience with Carvana has been a 1 star rating due to this. Carvana had no issues calling me to make sure all my documents for payment were signed and I had insurance, but for what a car I still do not have. SMH! Same on the management for having poor policies in place for these occasions! I look forward to speaking with someone from the corporate office to explain why I have had two delays and the the way I was told was through a text message and an email. Also, I still dont have a new date for pickup. When will that be? Another week? Thanks, Norman Goss 678-898-****

Vehicle purchase.

Since dealers are out of cars, I looked at Caravan. I found what I wanted. That was the easy part. Had to buy insurance I didn't need, had to make an additional payment on my current car, due to delivery delays. They cancelled my order once right after I spoke to a representative that told everything was set. Had to make a down payment on the new purchase, even though I had over 6,000 equity. They didn't transfer my plate, instead they bought me a new one. They said they didn't deliver to my area, I had to drive 4 hours to downtown Philadelphia. I got the car. It is what I was looking for. It was not easy. I have purchased lots of cars. i used to be an over the road salesman. I would go to the dealer, pick out a car and leave with my purchase. The 7-day return delays your paperwork. Won't do it again if I can help it.

User's recommendation: Find a good dealer if possible.
